PLC & SCADA Engineering

Positronics provides complete PLC & SCADA solutions, for in-plant and wide area applications, based on a variety of communication media. • Typically, data from plant-connected sensors are collected either in form of instrument signals or in form of digital communication. • SCADA software packages which Positronics is giving is `WinCC`, a product from SIEMENS.

Manufacture of Instrument, Electrical and Control panels is undertaken by experienced and skilled technicians, for both Safe area application and Hazardous Area application. All manufacturing activities are closely monitored and controlled by experienced engineers/supervisors..

System Support

Positronics provides comprehensive support for the systems that it supplies and also undertakes support of third party equipment and systems. Typically, a support contract will provide for preventive/corrective maintenance with guaranteed response times.

Servicing & Revamping

Fabrication, Removal of old instruments & installation of new, if required we also modify the cut outs suitable to new instruments Painting of existing old panels / JBs with proper surface finish with Epoxy/PU spray painting Wiring modification, ferrule replacements in existing old panels Loop checking and preparation of drawings of old existing panels Providing canopy (S.S., M.S., FRP) on existing panels/ JBs Testing & repairing/replacement of purge system in existing old panels and achieving required purge pressure Support for site supervision, Loop checking, Panel power up & commissioning S.S Tubing work for field instruments like Transmitter, skid, gauge, etc…. Replacement of old panels and installed new panel in same place or preparation of existing wiring details and termination drawings. Software development, logic modification in existing PLC system & HMI ( Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc…. )

Control for CNG/Gas Compressor Turbines & Pumps

'Positronics' is a pioneer in developing PLC based Control System for High Pressure CNG/Gas Compressor & Turbines. The compressor is utilized to compress the incoming gas supply from low pressure to high pressure varying from 299 to 400 kg/cm2. The complete control system is protected in a flameproof/pressurized chamber of Gas Group IIA, IIB or IIC. depending on the requirements/applications. The PLC systems we provide can be operated with or without man and machine interface (MMI).

Controls & Instrumentation for Water Supply

Water Supply Control & Instrumentation Management has been a forte of Positronics for the last twenty five years. We have executed more than two hundred projects in this area and have achieved an unmatched engineering expertise in this field. The instrumentation is mainly related to Monitoring & Control of Pressure, Level, Flow & Temperature.

Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition - Scada

Positronics offers a PLC based SCADA system solution for various stand alone and network systems for plant-wise applications in process industries. Man-Machine Interface (MMI) is a specific software package and is the heart of the system, based on an industrial standard Desktop Personal Computer. It offers graphical tools needed to compile various inter-related windows to suit the process operation application. The system is available in redundant or non-redundant configuration, depending on the requirement.

Pressurised Purged Panel System in Hazardous Area

Pressurized purged panel system follows the basic principle of Exp (pressurized) protection used for Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas. This system provides the safest, reliable, maintenance friendly and most economical means of protection for hazardous area locations. The panels conform to NFPA-496 and IEC 60079-2. The in house expertise caters to such custom built panels for various applications and various sizes. Positronics has supplied more than 500 pressurized purged panels in various industries like petrochemicals, Fertilizers, Oil & Gas

Control & Electrical Applications

Electrical supply is a key input in all industries & segments. Positronics designs & manufactures all types of Power Control Centers (PCC), Motor Control Junction Boxes for various process industries up to. 5000 amp. capacity. The panels are type tested for short circuit capacity of 50 KA for 1 sec & temperature rise test, as per IS:8623
